For decades, Venture Rapid Technologies (VRT) has been turning ideas into tangible, beautifully finished prototypes. As a family-owned business, they began in the world of injection molding and mold making, back when most designs were still drawn by hand.
Their journey with 3D printing started after discovering the technology at the Euromold exhibition in Germany. It was still unusual in the Netherlands at the time, but they immediately recognized its potential and decided to bring it into their work. The real acceleration came later, once 3D design software became widely accessible, transforming the entire workflow and opening the door to more complex, innovative projects.
Today, they specialize in large and detailed presentation models, high-quality prototypes, and small series production. And what keeps them excited after all this time? New ideas.
“We get to see things before they exist; toys, bicycles, plant systems, all kinds of inventions. That’s what inspires us.”
Their role goes far beyond printing: they advise on improving designs, reducing waste, and ensuring parts are suitable for real production which saves clients time, material, and frustration.
UBITE’s partnership with VRT 3D goes back more than twenty years. When our co-founder began experimenting with innovative bio-based materials, he knew VRT would be the people to turn to.
And why do they enjoy working with UBITE?
“It’s a simple solution for a complicated problem. Reducing plastic waste in a meaningful way; we wanted to be part of that.”
Today, they remain a trusted partner for ambitious ideas: big parts, complex shapes, and projects where craftsmanship truly matters.
A family-owned business powered by curiosity, collaboration, and new ideas and a partnership we’re proud to have.
